About

Over the last decade:

I learned how to create original and compelling programming by working at WTTW with one of the most respected producers in Chicago. I learned the importance of pre-production, project planning and hitting deadlines.

I learned digital organization tools by managing assets and editing recruitment tapes for young college athletes at NCSA. Sometimes up to 24-48 hours of raw game footage broken down, highlighted and assembled into 1-minute highlight reels encompassing entire athletic careers. I created highlight films for over 1000 high-school athletes consisting of over 10,000 minutes of raw game film.

I was hired by Flightless Bird Creative as the main editor on a feature-length documentary translated for three different languages and distributed in n 5 different countries. It premiered at film festivals in the US and Canada.

I founded my first digital media company, The Six Thirty, directing a team of 8 staff members and 20 writers to create +1.5 mil, unique annual users. We published over 1,200 multimedia articles that were picked up by major media outlets like Drudge Report, ABC Nightly News with David Muir, Robert Feder, CBS National, NBC Local, Chicago Sun-Times and The Daily Herald.

In my second start-up company, Brandleash (JM Web Tech), I learned how to help brick and mortar companies go from offline to online in a way that upheld their current brand identity but utilizing innovative digital tools. In other words, a blending process of brand, business and, technology to start a new chapter of growth in automotive, apparel and transportation.

At Prism Media, I learned how to make the business case in the corporate world doing video shoots and brand consulting in fintech, ed-tech, agriculture, energy, and healthcare. I helped coach top executives, scientists, and technologists on the best ways to communicate their story-brand in a remarkable way.

Work Experience

Founder / Roto.Life / Chicago, IL / 2019 – Present

Created a first-of-its-kind daily fantasy sports media company that delivers creative, insightful sports betting content to inform and engage the fast-growing – and newly emerging – daily fantasy sports fanbase.

Plan, produce and manage daily digital content designed with a strong, distinctive brand voice to resonate with daily fantasy sports fans, gained 1,000+ paid subscribers over the course of just one month.

Leverage and develop branded partnerships with emerging digital medium companies (ex. Flick Chat, Thrive Fantasy, Prize Picks) to better distribute creative, compelling, consistent sports betting content to a large tribe of users.

Utilize behavior-driven analytics tools that study our user’s platform journey to inform content strategy and allow for efficient product pivots.

Product Manager / Prism.Coach / Chicago, IL / 2018 – Present

Designed, managed and executed the digital redesign of Prism Coach – a global media and communications company that works with world-renowned clients such as United Airlines, Nike, McDonald’s and Google.

Coach C-suite level executives in finance, technology, sports, education, healthcare and media on developing strategic brand narratives to tell a story that supports corporate marketing initiatives.

Build and oversee technical production for live multimedia seminars, international webinars and, executive training tutorials.

Digital Content Specialist / Chicago Sun-Times / Chicago, IL / 2018-2019

Create and publish custom content that communicates the Chicago Sun-Times’ product voice to drive brand awareness, increase viewership and expand overall reach to new and existing audiences.

Produce, edit, proofread, and improve content (case studies, white papers, social media, blogs, web copy, scripts, infographics, etc.) prior to web publishing.

Partner with marketing, digital, research, PR and other key internal departments to ensure paid campaign content is created with the big-picture strategy and connectivity in mind.

Chief Digital Officer / The Six Thirty / Chicago, IL / 2013-2017

Founded a Chicago sports-focused creative content agency that grew from 2 employees to 20+ producers and contributing writers in just three years.

Served as Lead Multimedia Content Producer by managing the production and distribution of custom, Chicago sports-focused content geared toward a Millennial audience.

Developed and implemented the organization’s social media strategy, as well as online content strategy to attract attention and generate buzz from key audiences.
